Call for Papers

The meeting will include special sessions on the Arctic and sub-Polar North Atlantic, and also open sessions on any aspect of Argo science. The conveners invite submission of abstracts on topics including but not limited to:

  • Indicators of climate change
  • Deep water formation and the MOC
  • Heat and freshwater content
  • Exchanges between the Nordic Seas and Atlantic
  • Inter-annual to decadal variability of water mass properties
  • Role of sea ice in determining water mass properties
  • Aspects of the present implementation of Argo
  • Technical advances and scientific requirements for future Argo research
  • Use and impact of Argo observations in the GMES Marine Service
